Earphones
are a set of small, loudspeaker-driven drivers worn either on or behind the
ear. They are electronic transducers, which convert a sound signal into an
electrical impulse that is then amplified by a diaphragm. Earphones do not
directly get transmitted through the ear canal, as headphones were worn by
swimmers do, but they work with the diaphragm and the outer ear tissue to
resonate with the vibrations in the speaker's diaphragm. Earphone manufacturers
usually provide earphones with detachable cables, so that the user can easily
carry his or her earphones while traveling. There are several different models
of Bluetooth headphones, all of them designed to work in some ways different
from each other. The latest Bluetooth headphones are becoming increasingly
popular because the technology provides for fast transmission of data.
